Sabah Episode 3: King of the Trampoline

I think it the light of the Olympics, and seeing how the men gymnast did the trampoline, I decided to try my hands on a smaller and rounder version of the trampoline while I was at the Kinarut Adventure Park...
It was a fun day out with the gang going on the high rope challenge as well as doing the flying fox before we take a joy ride along the beach on ATV (All Terrain Vehicles) and ended the day with kayaking in the sea.
Beginning with the high rope challenge, it kinda freaked me a little me out since I have some issues with wobbly ladders as well as height so I braved myself, amongst the many ladies and went up to the top to start my "routine". We had all sorts throwing our way and I was most freaked over the planked bridge that has this see-saw that you have to go up and down in mid air to cross over... Though that was, to me the hard one, I loved the rest of it as NS had prepared me for the worst...

The strap is so tight, look at how it squeezed my ass out.

Then the flying fox. I don't understand why we can't take a lift up but have u climb up another wobbly ladder... It's pretty scary as the ladder is swaying from side to side like some coconut tree in the Bahamas while I climb up steadily... As I arrived the top, the guy pulled up the bar for me to hold before I "fly" down...
Guy: Sudah Bersedia
Me: Belum...
Took me a round 15 seconds (only) to get seated and be pushed off the ledge and soar pass the trees... It was fun no doubt and I, the cam whore took millions of pictures of me coming down and doing all sorts of poses Ala America's Next Top Model 5 where they did the superhero shot.

My superhero pose... Without the Mia Ferrow haircut that is.

Cassandra dear... you learned from the best...

Once we are done with all things high, we go even higher. Being as thin as a rake, slim and slender, nice and tender, I don't have much upper body strength (albeit lower body body strength), I don't really have faith that I could climb up to the top of the rock climbing wall. But being me, I must try and guess what, I reached the top and I was more than glad... but that was the simple one when I got the the moderate one, I got only half way up... My nerves got the better of me... again...

So we then had time to kill while waiting for the ATVs to be prepped, I jumped onto the trampoline to have a go at all my poses... As I landed in Sabah, the gang has already named me the posing king and so I showed them what I could do on a trampoline... Before you know it...
All of them came up for a try out to beat me...

Best pose yet...

More of my fabulous poses...

Cheh... Betul...
After a round of 15 minutes on an ATV... Mine rosak halfway, we went kayaking in the sea and we even saw one miserable Jellyfish... But the best part was to kayak out into the open... You really feel sorta liberated....
And before I left...

Very Mary Poppins kan...

Sabah Episode 2: We Go Island Hoping!

Me doing couture...

The best part is that when my sister text me and ask for my whereabouts, I told her I am island hoping, she did not have a clue of how I could hop from one to another!

But this was one of the best beach experience...

We did the banana boat, we did the snorkelling and played with nemo, we had a picnice, we played water monkey, we took loads of picture, we took in the sun... and yes, i checked out way too many hotties...

Fishes like all swimming around you...

The islands, mainly Sapi, Mamutik and Manukan are really nice but are not as clean as I have expected them to be. Being in Manukan last year, the water is not filled with plastic bags and the worst of it's kind... SEAWEED. Those icky green stuff makes the ocean look like a dumpster... And Macy was freaking out each time I threw it to her...

All of us learning floating and posing 101

So hemsem... Macam ikan bertanduk

The banana boat experience was frightening to me as me and Mel dropped into the ocean first and the boat swerved and hit me but I managed to push it away... Thats like my near death experience... Mel's gal even screamed.

I still survived...

But the whole day was just filled with a lot of jumping and we shot so many shots of us jumping up and down...

Can see all of us trying to do United Colours of benetton Ad... got potential kan?

Thats me doing kung fu Panda...

I like this... macam fish spa kan? Tapi no fishy...

Sabah Episode 1: I Slept with My Lecturer

Ahhhh.... Sabah, the wind beneath the land or... is it the land beneath the wind? Either one, it's been one of those trips I have longed since my holidays started. A group of KL guys will live a week in the life of the those from KK. Me and my best hag friend, Macy with my lecturer cum dude friend cum secret crushee, Yarn embarked on a journey to the other side of our country with much anticipation.

A colourful and really tight itinerary has been planned out by the KK-lites and according to schedule, we were supposed to be placed into our respective homes before visiting 1 Borneo, the 1 Utama of KK. As we were heading to Mel's house, I was told that I am sharing a room with Yarn and best of all, the same bed! Though nothing naughty transpired between the both of us for the past 7 days (though I wish we did) I had fun just sleeping in the same bed and being awaken by him every morning... Hmmm...

This is where all the action is supposed to happen.

Ok back to the good stuff.

So as I landed, SY called and asked if we could meet up. After 2 years not seeing my old form 6 classmate, I promised her that we would meet at 1 Borneo since it's near her uni, UMS. After our initial hellos, she asked if I wanted to visit her uni. So the 15 of us went on a private tour to her uni and managed to catch the beautiful sunset at the private jetty...

Spactacular sunset

Ade jugak yang ambil gambar kahwin kat jeti tu...

UMS Chancellory... One side of it is already bigger than my college...

Day one ended with dinner and the breakdown of the activities planned and so on. We looked forward to the next day of our trip as we go island hoping so stay tuned to the upcoming post!

Open my eyes...

Sometimes, I wonder what is going through the minds of the people around me and what do they think of me?

To them...
Am I a nice person?

Perhaps, someone they think highly of...?

Or, am I just someone they wish they had never knew?

The most interesting thing is, I may not even know myself that well to be able to answer such questions. I always wonder how people see me. What are the underlying thoughts about my presence, the way I look or I speak, do people enjoy being around me or would they rather have someone or something else around?

Have you ever thought if you could see yourself and the way you carry yourself in public in a third person's eye? I wish I could...
Cos I just wanna see the real me...
And if I could still love myself as much if I did...

Viet Passion...

No no... I didn't get to have any fun of that sort but I was in Vietnam for a few days to enjoy the lovely scenery of the must go Halong bay and to experience the essence of northern Vietnam, Hanoi.
Truthfully, Vietnam has not exceeded any of my expectations as I had due to the many recomendation of the place being a shopping haven while many boast of its beauty. No doubt, Halong Bay was indeed an attraction not to be missed but the city of Hanoi left me wandering if my many trips to the temples and shrines were worth the much sweat my Polos have soaked.

Halong Bay

Lovely isn't it???

This picturesque bay is a 3 and a half hours drive away from Hanoi. Its pretty much the many little islands that floof the bay that lead to UNESCO's agreement in naming it one of the many Heritage sites in the world. Though it was a lovely sight but to climb into the cave to have a look at the many beautifully formed staglamites got most of us in a foul mood with the many Vietnamese flooding the cave, making it hard to bear and the rain did dampen most of our spirits...

When we first enter, it looked like we re going into Jurassic Park or something...

However, I must say that the sight of these gigantic islands hovering over our boat did lift my spirit and for once, I felt peaceful, amongst the chattering aunties...

Tam Coc

Row row row your boat...

...Gently down the stream

This lovely place is 2 hours away from Hanoi and before I was there, I have no idea what to expect to see. We arrived at a little hut and was swarmed by Vietnamese offering us with their many trades. Mind you, some were photogs, hoping to make an honest buck out of you from taking pictures for you. What I was more amazed was that he took my picture without my notice and managed to track me down during lunch to sell me his picture, printed and laminated. Well, in Tam Coc, we were given this boat ride to see the streams of a river that leads u through the many, once again, gigantic hills. I seiously had enough of such sights. But the boat ride was really enjoyable. I had this cute Vietnamese boy next to me, constantly trying to speak to me in french... All I could say was, Ohlala... After the boat ride, I was enjoying a cup of cola until, to the horror of my eyes, some ang Mo lady was squatting in front me with her legs terkangkang wide open, flashing her thin black thong...

Here are some fun shots as well...

Barber having his ears cleaned...

Macam voodoo kan?

Ok...

Will be off to KK soon and be back with more to blabber...

See you and hugs

Carl Ng

Well, this guy has been the only reason I always had wet dreams of while I was in my teen age. Gentlemen, this is... Carl Ng.

A BBC (the Hongkies term of British Born Chinese), is Hong Kong's modelling industry's darling. He has been one of those constantly plastered on bilboards or in Chinese magazines. Since his father is a Hong Kong actor, he gets to also appear on the silver screen along the likes of notable names in Hong Kong such as Andy Lau.

So there I was today, home watching TV and lo and behold, my previous super celeb crush came on... I couldn't recognise him for a moment due to the fact he has long hair now (which is gross) and then I recall my days staring at the papers for hours (okay... being too much, just minutes looking into his eyes on the ads he was in while pretending to be reading some article)

Though he still looks as good but then again, he no longer has the charm to make me beg for him any longer. For old time sake, here is a lil tribute to my once upon lust factor

This was when I first fell in love with him...

Yummy...

You can lie on me anytime you want...

The look that kills...

This was his wedding ad photoshoot... I know why that sad look, she ain't your type, but I am!!!

Hey baldie... Stop checking out his ass...

More of his bodylicious pics... and that tattoo...

Awww...

And after all those cute pictures, I found one more reason not to love you as much...

But then again, who can ever say no to this face...

Face it.

I still heart Carl NG!

A Day Out with the Queer Ranter

Twas a rather rainy Tuesday that I was reminded at the sight of sunlight, that I was to be on an outing with the one and only, Queer Ranter. I booked him earlier on for karaoke but his highness has bad throat and decided to just stick to movies. After several changes and alteration to our plans, we ended up in Low Yat as I needed to find a cheapo charger for my handphone and later proceeded to Time Square for a movie.

Initially, we planned to catch The Dark Knight in Pavilion and later head off for choir but my lazy bones persuaded me to go for Times Square. To my horror, the Dark Knight was to be screened at 6.10pm and I would have to leave by then. Without much persuasion, I was drawn into temptation and embarked on a movie marathon. Since War of the Dragons were the only movie available at 3, we purchased our tickets while MR QR was busy with his job placement letter in which got him in stitches as he was left on a cliff hanger about where he is to be sent. ( Tanjung Malim? Sg. Petani? Merbok? Any Obscure Place?)

As we were seated, we were soon joined by 3 Iranians consisting of a teen, an adolecent and a kid. They pretty much were the previews as they were busy chitty chatty-ing that got QR fired up and by showing who has the balls, stood up and shush the trio. The guy who was seated next to them had to move and they didn't bother if it was their sadly, they ignored it and in fact later while both of us were giggling, the specky no good gurl shushed us in return... Kids... Haish...

Dragon Wars or War of the Dragons or D War? No wonder the several name changes...

But we didn't mind, the movie was so bad that we didn't mind that lil bit of noise. It was to the point where the storyline sucked and no sufficient thought was given into the plots nor the facts. It was like Anaconda cum Star Wars and it was so screwed. Even the love story didn't seem real. It was all mushed up. To tell you how bad it was, all you need to do is dig up your old files on Bad Movies and you have a new top scorer. The only bearable part was Jason Behr yet, without his emo ala Roswell look, he is nothing...

There is that puppy face...

Then we have a half hour to run to borders to get a lil something for a friend of QR while he chats on and on with someone else on his phone, I realised today, the fact that he calls himself QR for the fact that he Rants... A LOT!!!

I come to Kill....

So then comes the Good Movie, Batman; The Dark Knight. Man. I was on the edge of my seat from beginning to the end. Though the sound system sucked a little due to some technicalities but the movie was awesome. Every scene is memorable. The entire concept has many layers to it and requires one to truly enjoy the movie and think... The actors were committed and they have brought their acting to the Next Level. Heath Ledger did a stunning performance as the Joker (eh, no joke ok!) while Christian Bale did a fairly good job in bringing the dark side of Batman. Aaron Eckhart was surprisingly charming as Harvey Dent, the super sweeper DA and was pretty versatile in bed... opps I mean with his role. Batman is no longer just a comic book movie that is all about kicking ass or about special effects. Its really a movie worth the money and the time spent.

You need me to fill you up from the back?

I don't mind being filled up by you...

The story goes much deeper than any movie goes into and if you think Iron Man is the movie of the Season or of 2008, think again! With the amazing twists to it, it would be a sin for me to leak it out but I beg you to give it a chance for I assure you, its as good as its gonna be.
On a scale of 1-10, I give it a 10
On a scale of 1-50, I give it a 50
On a scale of 1-100, I give it a 99.5.
I don't believe in perfection, but this is as good as it's gonna get!
