27 Dresses... and two hot cutie pies...

Well, its a lazy Saturday afternoon where i was supposed to be studying for my next paper, I decided to watch a little movie, the downloaded version of 27 dresses by the ever so beautiful Katherine Heigl and the dashing James Marsden...

Gosh, I am a sucker for movies like this. Beautiful dresses, weddings, love, romance, bitch slaps and lots of laughter. I love happy endings... I love it when the whole movie revolves around the search for happiness, true love and all those sweetness that Hollywood injected in our minds, totally corrupting the reality of true romance and marriage. I am just so enthralled by the whole concept of the dresses she kept and that at last, they all repaid their dues and attended the wedding in the brides' respective dresses...

Favourite part has got to be staring at James Marsden's eyes...

And also at the hunky Edward Burns...

Well, but this movie kept me thinking... We all have a very fixed sorta idea as to how our true love is to come and materialise in our eyes but hey, they come in the most unexpected form and well, people, are at times filled with surprises...

So I guess all I have to do now is to wait, wait and see when will I ever be sucked into my whirl-wind romance like how Jane fell for Kevin in the bar... And I wish i get to mouth out that he is sexy as well!!!

This movie is so my favourite!

And there it goes...

With the recent Sichuan earthquake, it bothers me so much that everyone is collecting funds to be sent to China. Well, I am not saying that all these good deeds are not to be encouraged but I have collectively given out more than my weekly expenses but what am I ranting about you may ask.

Well, I was asked to go for a charity dinner tonight at some Chinese restaurant by my parents and so I have no choice but to comply, only to realise non of us were even prepared to what was set before us.

We entered the restaurant welcomed by loud music blasting out of the stereos and we have to bear with all these little girl bands (a very hit fad amongst young Chinese ed children) and sang songs which seem to be of some very Chinese sounding nursery rhymes while some others sang covers. It reminded me of those awful Chinese dinners. Then there were dancers obviously from dancing societies tried to do a Jive, a Cha Cha and a Rhumba but the awful sight of a man who cannot sway right and it looked so stiff it needs grease!

The worst part was the auction where they auctioned everyday products ranging from washing machines to cognac. I was appalled by the rowdy response as though this was a competition amongst the crowd.

The day ended with loads of laughter, booze and a man (apparently some dato) making a bid of RM15,000 to sing a song that got me laughing into fits as he was basically reading the words of the song throughout without any sense of melody. I just wished someone told him it made a fool out of himself.

This is as close as it sounds tonight!!!

Paying a ton already to attend this ever-so-reluctant event, we found out that these people were not there to mourn and grief for the losses of those in china rather made it into some social event that seemed to disrespect those who have lost the lives of the family and friends. It was as though they were trying to take the opportunity of such disasters and make it an avenue to earn an extra buck. I felt sorry for those in need and if we really accumulate everything and pay off the cost, how much would be left to send into China?

Is this charity or is this a sham?

A moment of silence for all those who have suffer great loss. Amen.

Its begining to end!!!

Well, its that time of season...
As my exams approach ever so near, ie. Next Wednesday, all my favourite shows came to a close...

Desperate Housewives came to an OMG ending with some unsuspected turns...
With a 5 year flash to 2013, we have only to see some of em who has been pretty barren to start having children(Gabrielle) and those with children either got engaged(That new lady, Can't remember her name) or got successful (Bree) or got into trouble (Lynette) but some got a little more kinkier where Susan was seen snogging a new guy... Apparently someone from QAF...

I liked that the gay couple got married but was wrecked by the unfortunate twist of events... Its as though the producers had that last episode and must finish and wrap everything up and keep it happy... Tsk Tsk tsk... Thanks to the writer's strike I guess...

Nest we Have my girl, Kristi Yamaguchi who won the Sixth season of Dancing with the Stars with her partner Mark Ballas... She has been one of the most consistent dancer seen on the competition, being the leader for a consecutive 6 weeks and claiming a 90/90 for 3 dances. It was a pretty deserving ...

However, watching American Idol for the very first time at 8 am to catch the winner was really a bummer when David Won. Yes, David Cook instead of David Archuleta that is...

My sister even threw the pillow at the TV in protest but well, he won it hands down since he took home 56% of the 98.5 million votes... And the worst part is, his brother auditioned initially and he was just there to watch... Someone won by accident... That's original!!! I shall call him the accidental Idol!!!

But if David, Archie that is, if you ever read my blog (that is so cool!) I want you to know you are forever mine!!!

Hahahaha...

Just before leaving, Its always nice to reminisce on the cuties in this season!!!

Top 12... All smiles...

Danny Noreiga, he ain't my type but he is pretty much the entertaining factor... He was on the Ellen Show and he sang his only bearable song, Superstar which I found to be pretty good actually...

Jason Yeager, this guy has been one of those whom I found to be simply irresistible... I love his performance , Long Train Running in that tight, black pant...

Micheal Johns, Aussie guys are just hot... and his cheekiness, is what makes him so darn sexy...

Luke Mannard, Well, he just remind me of a blonder version of Legolas aka Orlando Bloom

For a stripper, he looks pretty decent and he has some moves if you watched the Season Finale where he shakes his booty on stage...

Go Go Yamaguchi...

Kristi and Mark; Mambo-ing her way to the top!!!

Yes, after reading one of Leggie's post about Kristi Yamaguchi's participation on Dancing With The Stars Season 6, I decided to watch a lil but boy was I surprised!

She is actually really good not to mention how cute Mark Ballas is! I have voted for them recently and hopefully they would win the finals!

This is a tribute to them and their amazing win of the first and only perfect 60/60 in the entire season!

Its a little bit funny, this feeling inside...

Well, it has been almost 3 years since that faithful day...
I could still vividly remember when I was still so odd looking and back when there was no Pavilion, I loved going to Times Square...

One of those days in my school U I stepped in with a couple of friends... I haven't had single meal for I was nervous the entire day. The fact that I was about to come to close encounter with destiny was really a nerve wrecking experience... I remember entering and writing my name upon the white coloured forms and submitting pictures, people bustling by, some striking a chord while another giggling. I was in my blue top and white pants, my uniform for 7 years in high school...

I went and sat there with my Bio book. I read through the pages until this cute reporter came to me and Tifz to ask what were we doing there... I simply replied, "I am here to get a rather honest and professional opinion about myself" After a couple of hours, the number 11487 was called summoning me to the room with 9 others, as nervous as I was.
I did not see a recognisable face, not someone I have ever met yet, I went in and I came out.

Then, uncertainty shrouded me... people were being called to and fro except me and another guy... The moment of truth, the rest was sent home while I have to make another trip on Monday...

Monday came and I packed well... I have a plain over sized white T shirt on and a brown pants. I took my number once again. I went to wait for 6 hours before I was summoned. I was third in line, The first came out with a glimmering yellow A4, I couldn't believe my eyes, he was Faizal, Mat Rock. Then it was my turn, but before I went in, someone came out and slammed the door, I knew my chances were slim...

I went in and was asked with the getting to know you question with an additional comment that I looked like a scientist. They thought I was a joke...

But soon after a tribute to Stevie and Micheal I knew I nailed it... Yes, I joined Malaysian Idol 2, 3 years ago...

me and Tifz...
I reminisce those sweet moments when I got my yes' and my golden ticket. I later dropped out due to exams but as a consolation, a 2 minute video of my audition immortalised my experience. Well, I still savour every moment especially when I get an alert in my mailbox that I got a new comment on Youtube, I would go and check what others have said about me... Not all are encouraging but it keeps me going and constantly encouraged that one day... I will make it!!!

Jellicles come to the Jellicle Ball

I absolutely adore Cats the musical...

I have loved this from the moment I saw it...

A work of a pure genius with a spark of originality...

Inspired by TS Elliot's poem, Andrew Llyod Webber went on to create this musical that has brought much joy and inspiration to many, especially me!

A story about all these cats coming together under the Jellicle moon to dance and sing before one of them are announced to be sent to the Heavyside Layer to be reborned...

Loved the entire concept and songs and most importantly, it has great costumes too...

The cast is amazing at bringing the essence of a cat so do catch it if it ever returns to Malaysia... Or else, get the video version...
This is my favourite...

Love Me Tender David For I Will Stand By You!!!

How can you not fall in love with this guy??? Someone who has puppy dog eyes, a sense of humility and not forgetting a dash of shyness... AND most importantly, sang "Stand By Me" and caress the essence of "Love Me Tender" is worth every penny... or all my loving...

"David... Will you sing me a love song???"

It is mind blowing to have him sing a very beat driven version of Ben E King's "Stand By Me" and check out towards the ending, you would realise a hint of "Beautiful Girl" by Sean Kingston in which I found an interesting fact behind this song!!!

I was sorta worried when everyone else up-ed their game with their second song and was hoping he didn't get jinxed by the good comments in the first song... Guess what?
The moment he opened his mouth, I fell in love with the whole song... Thats just so magical!!!

Yes, he didn't beat the competition, he crushed the competition!!!

Do check out Syesha's version of my idol, Sam Cooke's "A Change's Gonna Come"

When Mummy is not home!!!!

Yup, you heard it right... Since the 1st of May Mum and Dad left for Guilin, China while they left their house, cars and a whole lot of responsibilities such as feeding the fishies and the terapins and water the plants and all...

So I have also decided not to be left out on the fun and headed on to find my only gay friend in town who is so into clubbing and so on so forth, Mr Ah De Lian...
Tapi malangnya, he isn't able to make it so there goes my slutty Saturday and I was forced, yes "forced", to log into sleazy g.com for a chat with those sex craved guy. And without much luck I logged out and before turning off my PC, I relogged in to just see if there is anythign worth a second look and bless my soul, a guy I have not chatted for so long logged on. We have never met and so we decided this would be the night. However, upon arrival to his house, I was lead to his bedroom and the lights were turned off, he was feeling tired and just wanted to have me as company while he falls asleep... So much for the meet up, and worst, he said he doesn't kiss...

Sunday morning came and I headed home by train... Kesian kan? When I got home, I opened the door and let some fresh air enter the deserted house beofre I watered the plants and later went on to watch TV (boring stuff...) but out of a sudden, the electricity went dead... Gosh, the humidity was a torture beyond words so I meditated the best way I can, through snores and snorts and lots of ZZZZzzzz....

After an afternoon of shopping for girls, literally, for shoes and dresses, I headed home but this time, with the idea of heading to Attic, meet up with a friend and had fun with a magarita before heading home. I was later seduced to someone's house, Mr Rabbit's place and had a lil kiss and a stolen moment of romance, nothing too much, but much of what I expected to have last night...

Oh, on my way to Bangsar, I knocked into the sidewalk and now I think the petrol is leaking... I hope my guesses are wrong but yes, I drove to Bangsar alone and back... I am proud as can be!!!
